Artwork

For most of my teenage years I was very into art – would still like to get back into it if I found some inspiration. Below is a slideshow of some of my drawings and paintings, done for school, commission or for myself.

  1. WOW! It’s just incredible to see all these wonderful paintings and drawings in succession. You’ve built up quite a portfolio over the years! I especially love the two West Highland terriers, because it’s so realistic. Also the four wine glasses are amazingly photo-like. Other pieces are outstanding because of the colour/lighting effects or unusual backgrounds. I love the snowy squirrel, the lily, the bunny…the list goes on. And your pictures of people really capture the life in the eyes – I don’t know how you do it! Amazing! x

    1. Ahhh thank you so much! There’s definitely an animal trend running throughout isn’t there? Sometimes I wish I still did art now, it’s just a lot more difficult with a small flat and full-time job! 🙂

  2. Hi!
Don’t know if you remember me, but we used to talk on DeviantART in the old days. My screen name on DeviantART is Stereozombiez (which I dearly want to change 😛 )
But anyways, nice to see you are still active, I always liked your paintings and your style. You’re a talented artist. 🙂

    1. Hey, of course I remember you! I’m not too keen on the name blossomcrown either! Sorry to have deserted you on deviantart. Glad to see you’ve kept it up though! And thank you. 😀

  3. I am ever so envious of anybody who can create such images (without a camera)!
I love the colourful rose picture.
I know one of the people in your portraits personally and I really am in awe at how realistic and accurate the painting is. Amazing!! If only such talent could be taught and acquired. Alas I shall just have to satisfy myself with being snappy happy and visiting art galleries!
